The Australian Volunteers Program Southern Africa Office hosted a post-assignment partner event with Ann Harding Cheshire Homes, Caregivers were trained around person-centred care for adults with disability by our wonderful volunteer Mohamed Bah.
The event was attended by our in-country team, our volunteer Mohamed (via Zoom), staff and carers from Ann Harding Cheshire Homes and some of the adults within the home. It was a special day to celebrate a wonderful Australian volunteer, a successful assignment and new skills and capacity for the caregivers.
